Voice over (VO) is recorded narration used in media like commercials, corporate videos, eLearning and podcasts.

Can I record VO remotely?

We can broadcast high resolution audio from our studio on Edinburgh's Royal Mile and can connect remotely with you from anywhere on the planet with an internet connection using Zoom, Source Connect Pro, IPDTL, Microsoft & Google Teams.

Do you provide direction during VO sessions?

Absolutely. We can provide in-studio or remote direction to ensure performances match the original take, sync perfectly, and fit the creative brief.

What file formats can you deliver?

We deliver broadcast-standard WAV & 320kbs MP3 files as default, but can provide any file format required for your workflow.

How quickly can VO be turned around?

Short scripts are often completed and sent to you directly following the session. Larger projects depend on casting and approvals but are scheduled promptly.

What Equipment Do You Use?

We operate a 2024 Mac Studio M2 Ultra computeriusing Pro Tools Ultimate & Logic Pro X with the World Famous Metric Halo ULN MkV converters along with the amazing DM2000 mixer which boasts 96 channels with warm pre-amps and up to 192k bandwidth.

Our VO equipment includes a range of pro microphones for very voice, including Neumann U87, Neumann KM84 pair, Coles Ribbon Stereo mic, AKG 414 XL, AKG 414, Rode NTK Valve mic, Sennheisser MKH 416, Electro Voice Dynamic mic and AKG Solid Tube and excellent signal processing equipment
