Offbeat Rhythm Section EP – Current Project

OFFBEAT RHYTHM SECTION is a collaboration between myself and violinist Kirsty Anderson,  we are currently putting together an EP containing 5 tracks of instrumentals and are nearly finished mixing the project.

The music puts the Electric Violin in brand new territory as a lead instrument. Kirsty creates Electric guitar type sounds… but without the frets. Mixed with my Acoustic Guitars and overdriven Electric Guitars the resulting blend creates a unique new sound.

The track featured below is entitled Off The Radar and it’s the first completed track from the album. We’re really proud of this track as we feel we have pulled of an effort to create a soundscape which works well as a stand alone piece of music but also for a Film soundtrack too.
