FULGOR
In 2002 Beau McClellan, the producer of Fulgor, the Algarve's biggest ever performance art event, teamed up with Iain McKinna to compose and produce and perform the music for this one off event in front of 1500 guests .
150 people worked on the show over a period of four months and 75 performers took part. Beau purpose built a studio specially for the event. Iain put together a library of sounds and designed and shipped a Logic based studio. The music was created on location in Portugal during the two weeks before the actual show. The setting was one hole of a famous golf course in Almancil which was completely destroyed for the show - Four stages were involved, each representing an element : Fire, Air, Earth and Water.. The show was created by Judite Da Silva.

MANDANCIN
Blues singer Tam White has been in the music business since the 60's and was the first solo artists to win New Faces. he worked with producers Mickey Most and Joe Meek before working for may years with his band The Dexters. Tam also has asuccessful acting career landing major parts in Braveheart and Cut Throat Island before playing amajor role in Norman Stones movie Mandancin'. Three of Tams somgs were featured in the movie and were producved by Iain. An album was created to coincide with the release entitled Hold Onon the Offbeat label.

THE JIMI McRAE BAND - PIPEDREAMS
Piper Jimi McRae aka Jimi The Piper was dscovered by Iain busking on the Royal Mile and for the following 3 years they made three successful albums together. Also forming a band touring extensively in UK including gigs at Brampton Festival, The Glasgow West End festival. Blues In The Farm, T In The Park (three years running) Glasgow Hampden Park, Edinburgh Festival, Beijing New Year, and Stirling Castle New Year, as well as gigs in Germany and France.

HAMED KANE
Hamed Kane from Senegal is a Bayefall (Sufi) formerly the Serere tribe.. His music was composed on 3 Khin drums which he also made for his debut album AKASSA. The album was released Worldwide on the Offbeat label through STERNS music. Iain produced the album and played guitar, bass and keyboards. They both did promo gigs together, including live performances at Edinburghs Bongo Club and recordings for BBC World Service. SEE REVIEWS AND PICS.

NECTARINE NO9
Nectarine no9's debut album A Sea With 3 Stars was produced by Iain with the band for the cult label Postcard Records. It acheived NME album of the year. Vocalist Davy Henderson was in the original FIRE ENGINES, also a Postcard Records band and was also lead vocalist in WIN. iains credits on the album also include Moog and Piano and Drum Programming. ALLIE FOX
Singer and Guitarist Allie Fox is an accomplished acoustic guitarist and her debut album Diving For Pearls was critically acclaimed. Iain produced it and played Bass, keyboards and Percussion. MIKE HERON
Mike Heron was co founder of The Incredible String Band in the 1960's. The band were cited by both The Beatles and Led Zeppelin as an influence and were the only British act to appear at Woodstock. Iain produced and played Keyboards on Where The Mystics Swim for Demon Records which was Mikes first solo album for 17 years.

TALITHA MACKENZIE
World Music artist Talitha Mackenzie chose Iain McKinna and Chris Birkett to produce her album Solas on World Music Network, which reached no3 in the US World Music charts and no 12 in the European charts. Iain subsequently toured with the band as guitarist and MD playing gigs at The Melk Weg (Amsterdam) Womad Festival in England, Womex in Berlin, Barrowlands, Glasgow Royal Concert Hall and many major UK venues.

OBSIE + KIRSTY
Iains own composition Searching reached no1 in Apple Macs Icompositions site in 2005. The track was written with lyricist Keith O'Brien and features vocalist Kirsty Anderson. Iain met Keith when he was lead singer in One Fine Weekend who was the first band Iain produced an album for back in Edimburghs Sonic studios in the late 80's. keith eventually moved to Australia and uploaded the track onto Icompositions where it was an instant no 1.
