"Offbeat is a music production company and recording studio based in Edinburgh which was established in 1992. The studio was set up for all kinds of projects including our own. We have achieved worldwide recognition for our recordings and productions working for major and independent record companies as well as for artists engaged in self funded projects.

Iain McKinna has been creating a diverse range of music both as a performing artist and a producer with over 25 years in the industry. His experience as a multi-instrumentalist makes him a popular choice with songwriters and solo artists who require musical accompaniment.

Paul McKinna, Iain's son, has been making music since an early age and has gained recognition for his unique electronic productions and drum programming. He is an ideal choice of producer for contemporary rhythm based projects.

Nik Paget Tomlinson has recently joined and has many years experience as a multi instrumentalist and session musician/engineer in a wide range of styles from ambient to jazz and hiphop.
