Coast Australia / commentary by Neil Oliver at Offbeat.
We have started work on the first series of Coast Australia, in the process of recording the first three episodes so far with presenter Neil Oliver for Great Southern TV. These episodes cover Victoria, The Gold Coast and Tasmania.
The series was filmed in May this year and from what I’ve seen so far it’s amazing. Neil’s voice over is recorded here prior to being dropboxed to Producer Anna Geddes in Auckland, New Zealand where the editing is completed by Audio Engineer Nigel Foster. The series is set for release later this year on the History Channel.

GSTV COAST COMMISSION ANNOUNCED – FOXTEL
Drama by the seaside
FOXTEL did its best to keep new series, Coast, under wraps.
But they didn’t bargain on presenter Neil Oliver being mobbed while filming the GSTV production in Watsons Bay last week.
The new series, airing later this year on The History Channel, is based on a successful UK version.
Oliver and his team will visit all corners of Australia, from the Kimberley to the Gold Coast, from Darwin to Hobart, while stopping off in Sydney and Melbourne in between.
Oliver says the series is about the people and their stories, intertwined with facts and revelations. “With so many Australians so close to the ocean and such an amazing coastline to explore, it will be a fantastic series,” he says. “I am truly buzzing … The potential is unlimited.”
